I’ve always been a believer in the power of tools – words, music, and stories, to shape culture and transform lives. But lately, I’ve added a new kind of tool to my creative toolkit: Artificial Intelligence.
Now before you picture robots taking over my keyboard or writing my lyrics, hear me out. AI isn’t replacing me. It’s enhancing what I already do; helping me work smarter, faster, and more intentionally. Whether I’m writing a book, managing my brand, or strategizing content for a client, AI has become that behind-the-scenes assistant I never knew I needed.
From Passion to Precision: Why I Started Using AI
I wear many hats: author, music artist, speaker, social impact advocate. With so many moving parts, managing time and creativity was becoming a full-time job on its own. I found myself constantly switching between planning, writing, designing, emailing, researching… all while trying to stay sane and serve well.
Then AI entered the chat.
I started small, using AI tools to brainstorm blog ideas, summarize notes, and clean up email drafts. And oh, what a difference it made. Suddenly, my focus shifted back to why I create instead of being buried in the how. AI didn’t strip me of my creativity; it gave me space to breathe and dream again.
How AI Is Changing My Creative Services
Today, AI is embedded into nearly everything I do. Here’s how:
- Content Creation: From blog outlines to social media captions, AI helps me generate content ideas that are sharp, audience-aligned, and easier to edit.
- Music Branding: Using AI-powered audio tools, I test how my lyrics and sound are perceived by different demographics before release.
- Client Workflows: For business clients, I use AI to help automate tasks like form generation, email replies, data sorting, and content repurposing, saving them hours weekly.
- Creative Coaching: I even use AI when helping writers and entrepreneurs overcome creative block, identify tone of voice, or plan book and product launches.
It’s become a key part of how I serve with more efficiency, relevance, and joy.
A New Chapter: Teaching AI to Others
The more I saw what AI could do, the more I realized something: Many creatives, especially women and entrepreneurs across the globe, especially Africa are being left out of this conversation.
So I’m doing something about it.
I’m currently building a new course designed to demystify AI and help everyday creatives: authors, speakers, musicians, coaches, use it to boost productivity, automate tasks, and amplify their message.
No complicated code. No geek-speak. Just simple, powerful ways to use AI as a tool, not a threat.

Why This Matters to Me
For me, it’s more than technology. It’s about equity. It’s about helping underrepresented voices rise in the global digital economy. If you can write a sentence, you can work with AI. If you can tell your story, you can train a tool to scale it. I want to help more people, especially women and creatives in Africa and the diaspora realize that this wave isn’t just for Silicon Valley. It’s for us, too.
Final Thoughts: The Future is Human—With Better Tools
Let’s be clear: AI is not the dream. You are. Your message, your voice, your vision, that’s the heartbeat of everything. AI is just the microphone. The spotlight. The helping hand that lets you show up bolder, clearer, and more consistently.
So whether you’re an artist trying to juggle your process, an entrepreneur with too many tabs open, or a visionary dreaming of scaling impact, let’s talk about how tools like AI can lighten your load.
Because the future belongs to those who are not just creative, but creatively strategic.
And I’m here to help you get there.
